On January 13, 2014, Wanda Hotels and Resorts held its first grand annual brand forum and ceremony with the theme “China Brands Future”. Nearly three hundred guests gathered together with both foreign and domestic media to enjoy a feast of high-end hotel brands. The forum was held at Wanda Realm Beijing Hotel. Mr. David Cheng, President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts gave the welcome speech while Mr. Zhang Rungang, Chairman of the China Tourist Hotel Association, also gave an excellent keynote speech.

Presided over by Mr. Rupert Hoogewerf, Chairman and Chief Researcher of the Hurun Report, Mr. Ilja Poepper, Vice President of Wanda Hotels and Resorts, the Managing Director of Great China and Bangkok of HVS – Daniel Voellm, Mr. Ernst Zimmerman from AVA Hospitality, and Director Simon Press from the Global Tourist Market, Reed Travel Exhibitions, the topic of “Strength and Threat for Chinese Brand Going Global ” was discussed.
